How to Know When You Are Being Ignored

No one likes to be ignored. Being ignored is not a nice experience. Although sometimes you may not be intentionally ignored, it is important to know the signs of being ignored, so that you can spare yourself from pain and disappointment.

Step 1
At some time in life each individual experiences hurt. Most times it is by someone who was thought to be a close friend. The first sign that something is not completely right, is when that person starts to ignore you. There may be various reasons why you are being ignored. The most common reasons are, guilt after betraying you, finding a new friend or planning to break off the friendship. Whatever the reason is, learning to discern the signs easily, can save you from getting hurt.

Step 2
You can know that you are being ignored, if you have a friend who you normally talk to frequently throughout the week, and when you call their phone, no one answers, instead you are sent to voice mail. You may think at first that your friend is busy, but when the next day come and you still don't get a reply, you starts to get worried. You heard from other people that your friend is doing fine, and your friend still hadn't returned your call. This is when you realize that you have been ignored all this time.

Step 3
Another way that you can tell that you are being ignored is if you are not invited to parties that you were usually invited. For example, you know that each year your friend keeps a party around a certain time of the year, and you are looking forward to going. You hear everyone talking about receiving invitation to the party, and suddenly realized that you were not invited.

Step 4
Sometimes things do happen, and people do forget to do things, but you can tell when you are being ignored. If things just keep happening, and there is no explanation for it, you may be on that person's ignore list

Step 5
If someone is ignoring you they will tell you a million excuses to avoid spending time with you. Some friends are only for a season. When they are bored with the friendship, they will move on to a new friend. In the process of doing this they hurt their friend's feelings without caring. They are not brave enough to tell the person to their face, so they ignore them, hoping that they will get the message. If you are being ignored, move on because you deserve better than to be ignored.
